Before you begin

Download the current release from mixxx.org. Modern versions include MP3 broadcasting support.

Connect your stream

  1. In Mixxx, open Preferences and choose Live Broadcasting.
  2. Select SHOUTcast 1 as the connection type when using a standard PurePower encoder.
  3. Enter the host, port, and password from your welcome information.
  4. Match the bitrate to your plan and enable the connection.
  5. Confirm the broadcast is live in Centova Cast before sharing the player URL.
